It is with great sadness that his family announce that Peter King died peacefully at his home in Thaxted on Friday 27th March 2020. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Sybil and all his family and friends. There will be a graveside funeral, as allowed at present, for family only on Thursday 9th April at Thaxted Church. It is intended that there will be a Thanksgiving Service for all to celebrate his life later in the year. Sybil would like to thank everyone for the extraordinary number of cards and letters of condolence that she and the family have received and are greatly moved and comforted by so many varied memories of Peter.
