John Stanley Holmes Born in Dublin, 29 August 1930 John passed away peacefully at Broomfield hospital Chelmsford on Friday 28th October 2022. To the end he retained his humility, his dignity and his wit. John will be fondly remembered and missed by many, but no more so than by his wife of 66 years, Valerie, and his sons, Carl and Ralph. God bless him always, for he was a kind and generous soul. Service of remembrance to be held at St Mary's Church Stebbing at 3.15 pm on Monday 21st November 2022 Flowers, or donations in lieu, should be delivered directly to the Church
