Robert Scott (Bob) 12th August 1947 - 20th July 2023 Robert lost his fight against a very rare cancer after 3 short months. A loving loyal husband, dearly loved Dad, Grandad & Great Grandad. Robert was a great believer in volunteering. He volunteered with English Heritage to re-construct 5 Neolithic roundhouses at the new visitors centre at Stonehenge. He also volunteered with the Friends of the flitch way and the community shed at Cressing Temple, where he spent many days and made many good friends. Robert loved building and working with wood, he made many different things for his family and the community. We are having a private cremation on Monday 7th August followed by a celebration of life at Aythorpe Roding Village Hall (CM6 1PS) where all are welcome to come and share memories with tea and cake from 12pm onwards. Donations to St Clares Hospice will be appreciated in Roberts memory.
