An author who is originally from Royston and now lives in Stansted is publishing her fourth novel since the start of the pandemic.
Mum-of-three AJ Campbell published her debut psychological suspense novel 'Leave Well Alone' just under two years ago, and has now launched her fourth book 'The Phone Call'.
'The Phone Call' tells the story of Joey Clarke, whose only joy is spending time with his friend Becca, who is the love of his life.
When a phone call gives Joey the chance to ease the burdens of his life, he grabs the opportunity, but panics when he finds himself party to a crime linked to Becca.
As catastrophic events unfold, Joey finds himself faced with the impossible choice of whether to confess to police or keep quiet.
AJ, who lives with her husband, sons and cocker spaniel Max, said she draws inspiration for her novels from ordinary people finding themselves in seemingly unbelievable situations.
