Local contemporary artist Bruce Ronaldson is returning to Dunmow Art Group for a series of drawing classes, starting this week.
Bruce is running four drawing classes up until December 19, the first of which took place today.
The remaining drawing classes will take place in the Talberd Room at Foakes Hall in Dunmow, from 1pm to 3pm.
The classes will teach three basic drawing themes: how to look and observe, manual dexterity and precision, and clear, reactive thinking.
Bruce will also host an evening talk on drawing in the Talberd Room from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on January 18.
Audrey McNeill, chair of the Dunmow Art Group, said: "Bruce had been delivering a series of classes on drawing when lockdown was imposed that were extremely popular, so we are delighted to welcome him back."
Classes cost £1 for Dunmow Art Group members and £5 for non-members. People should bring their own materials - including a range of pencils and cartridge or sketching paper.
Dunmow Art Group supports artists and art lovers in Dunmow and has a regular programme of supporting weekly art meetings and monthly visiting artists.
