The winner of a festive photoshoot for dogs has donated her pet's prize to help animals in need.
Ernest Doe in Braintree held the photoshoot as part of their Christmas shopping day, with the dog who accumulated the most votes on Facebook named as the winner.
Teresa King, of King and Co tree nursery in Rayne, won with her labrador Monty.
The prize was a dog-themed hamper worth £150, and Teresa requested that the hamper be converted to dog food to donate to the RSPCA Danaher Animal Home.
Danaher Animal Home is based in Wethersfield, and each year re-homes hundreds of lost, abandoned or ill-treated dogs, cats and small animals.
Emily from Ernest Doe joined Teresa and Monty to present the dog food to Danaher.
