Singer and aspiring actress Olivia has been named as Felsted School's musician of the year.
The school's annual musician of the year competition brought together more than 80 individual performances across a day of musical celebration, with Olivia performing classic show tune 'Life is a Cabaret'.
Year 13 weekly boarder Olivia - whose last name the school chose not to release - said: "Everyone performed so well, it was definitely a tough competition, but this has given me the confidence to continue performing.

"When I leave Felsted, I hope to go on to study acting and hopefully go into a career of performing."
The award was judged by professional concert pianist Nicholas McCarthy, who was born without a right hand.
