A community street party was held in Great Dunmow over the bank holiday weekend to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.
The 'Right Royal Knees Up' took place on Sunday, the day after the King was crowned at Westminster Abbey.
Market Place was closed for the afternoon, and two large, long tables were set up across the road, with residents, their families and friends all invited to book their seats.
Attendees brought their own picnics, and there were stalls and shops offering food and drink to buy on the day.
There was also music, entertainment and activity packs for children.
Town crier Jody Huizar was in attendance, and people donned red, white and blue clothing and waved Union Jack flags in honour of the occasion, while one resident made an impressive Union Jack cake.
The event coincided with the national Coronation Big Lunch - with more than 65,000 events taking place across the UK.
