Great Dunmow's Catholic Women's League recently celebrated its 90th anniversary with a special mass.
The first league meeting took place on March 20, 1933.
On Sunday, June 11, members attended mass at Our Lady and St Anne Line Catholic Church to mark this milestone, followed by refreshments in the church hall.
Parishioners were invited to join members and share a slice of celebratory cake.
An exhibition was on display to chart members' activities over the years, as well as demonstrating the league's mottos of charity, work, loyalty and caring with love.

Members also ran a raffle and sold cakes and plants, raising £260 for Ukraine.
The Catholic Women's League, now an international charity, was founded by Margaret Fletcher in 1906.
