Uttlesford Citizens Advice (CAB) welcomed MP Kemi Badenoch to their pop-up service in Dunmow Library.
Mrs Badenoch and county and district councillor Susan Barker met with chief executive Kate Robson and the staff and volunteers who help people with issues including benefits, debt, housing and more.
Alongside their site in Saffron Walden, Uttlesford CAB partners with Great Dunmow Library and community venues in Takeley and Stansted to offer support across the district.

Kate explained that the rural location presents difficulties for people on low incomes, and that CAB wants to bring this to the government's attention.
Mrs Badenoch said: "Uttlesford CAB plays a vital role in our communities, offering support and guidance to those in need, particularly in light of cost-of-living pressures."
