Staff and residents at a care home in Great Easton have launched their community coffee mornings with a special festive event.
Moat House Care Home welcomed people from the surrounding villages, Claire and Angela from The Five Parishes magazine, and residents from Moat Park Retirement Village.
Guests were provided with entertainment and festive food and drink throughout the morning.
Customer relations manager George Byford said: "Our coffee morning was a huge success. We had a festive set list of songs performed by special guest singer Ryan Hornett.
"The atmosphere was so lovely, people were up dancing, and there was an array of delicious food on offer made by our wonderful chef manager Mahidhar Simham."
Client services manager Franco Greffon added: "Everyone we welcomed into our home interacted with one another so well.
"They went from being strangers to friends by the end of the coffee morning. It’s been great to create such a social and welcoming environment for our local community to embark upon."
Guests at the coffee morning gave positive feedback about the event.
One guest, Barbara, commented: "I thought the coffee morning was great fun.
"We were singing, I was doing all my hand movements and exercising my arms in the process.
"The mince pies were also a wonderful touch."
Barbara's friend Dianne added: "It’s so good to see Barbara in a social setting like this. It’s what she’s needed. She’s blossoming right now."
Singer Ryan Hornett, who performed at the coffee morning, said he had a "delightful morning".
He said: "It was nice to see people engaging and dancing to the songs.
"I was especially moved by guest Barbara who was sat in the front row. I could see she was enjoying the festive songs."

Moat House Care Home intends to hold similar community events in the future.
George Byford said: "Following this coffee morning we hope for many more successes and opportunities for Moat House Care Home.
"I'm also looking forward to our next community event that we can welcome guests to."
Moat House, within Moat Park Retirement Village, is run by Country Court, and accommodates 60 residents.
