Pupils and parents at Howe Green House School in Great Hallingbury have been helping out their community in the run-up to Christmas.
Members of the school council delivered Christmas presents to The Salvation Army as part of the charity's Christmas Present Appeal.
The presents, donated by Howe Green House families, are given to families with children who would not otherwise receive a gift.
Year 6 children helped with bag packing in Waitrose in Bishop's Stortford, at the same time raising money for their chosen charity Haven House Children's Hospice.
Meanwhile, Howe Green House provided a Christmas tree for St Giles Church in Great Hallingbury, and the tree and the church were then decorated by members of the school's Parents and Friends Committee.
