BBC Radio Essex presenter Sadie Nine attended the Flitch Ball in Dunmow ahead of the town's historic trials.
The Dunmow Flitch Trials, which will be held on July 13, date back more than 900 years.
A 'flitch' (a side of bacon) is awarded to married couples who have to prove their love to a jury of six bachelors and six maidens.

This year's Flitch Ball was held at Foakes Hall on Sunday, February 11, to help fundraise and kick-start the event.
Radio presenter Sadie, who served on the Flitch Trials Council in 2022 and will do so again this year, attended alongside more than 100 other guests.
Guests enjoyed a three-course dinner before dancing the night away with Dunmow band The Jjars.
