Hatter's Farm, just outside Takeley, has launched Confetti Flower Fields to create a "mesmerising display of colour".
The owners of the family-run farm have grown five different varieties of flowers spread over a five-acre field.
Petals from the flowers will then be harvested by hand to create biodegradable confetti.
Before the petals are harvested, members of the public are invited to come and visit the fields on August 3, 4, 7 and 11.
The farm will be open from 10am to 4pm, with last entry at 5pm.
On Saturday, August 3 there will also be an adults-only evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Food, drink and ice cream will be available, and guests are welcome to buy pre-picked bunches of flowers and handmade confetti.

Ross McGowan, of Hatter's Farm, said: "Our family has been farming in Essex for four generations now, we farm all the conventional combinable crop such as wheat and barley.
"But due to the external pressures put on farming such as the weather, output prices and government policies, we have diversified our farm in to new ventures to try and increase our resilience."
