Old Park Meadow Natural Burial Ground in Dunmow recently hosted a special lunch to thank its volunteer gardeners.
The entire staff and gardening club members gathered at the burial ground in North End to enjoy refreshments.
Delyse Jackaman, manager of Old Park Meadow, said: "The work our volunteer gardeners do is absolutely fantastic.

"The community that we have all built together is special. We wanted to show our appreciation for all their hard work."
Old Park Meadow hosts their gardening club every Wednesday from 9am to midday.
They also host a coffee morning from 10am to midday, and on the third Wednesday of every month a bereavement café takes place from 10am to 11.30pm, at which anyone from the community is welcome.
