of Vicarage Mead, Thaxted. Died peacefully and serenely on Wednesday, 14th October, 2020 aged 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Karl Schauenburg, much loved mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. A true friend to so many. ‘Once met, never forgotten'! A private family funeral service will take place and Rosetta's ashes will be interred at a beautiful natural burial ground at a later date. The family would like to say ‘Thank you' to all the many Thaxted residents and medical professionals who showed her friendship and who helped and cared for Rosetta over the 19 years she lived in the village. The family would like to support ‘The Arthur Rank Hospice' in Cambridge where Rosetta spent her last few days.
