The Big Green Business Expo was held near Great Dunmow to talk about how they can ensure a sustainable future.
Around 200 people attended the event in Old Park Meadow, Northend, where like-minded business owners discussed their common goal of protecting nature and preserving the environment.
The event on Thursday, April 20, was organised by Karen Dixon and Grant Maton of Essex Wildlife Trust, and sponsored by UTL Group.
A spokesperson for UTL Group said: "We met so many great people doing incredible things in business to create a better environment for us all.
"A big thank you to Karen Dixon, Grant Maton and Delyse Jackaman for bringing the event to life."
Among the 50 exhibitors were solar energy company S-Tec Group Ltd, promotional merchandise company Impamark and Vigilis Tree Shelters.

This year's event featured talks by Dan Wogan, head of product at Epson, on sustainability in the workplace, and by Essex Wildlife Trust CEO Andrew Impey on their ambition and vision.
Other speakers included Steve Alton, biodiversity and nature sanctuary manager at Gridserve, David Rayner, head of environment and energy at Birkett Long, Essex County Council's 'climate czar' Cllr Peter Schweir, and Chris Hossack, chair of Brentwood Environmental Business Alliance.
