A cyclist is in a critical condition after being found injured in the road at RideLondon-Essex.
The male rider, in his 30s, was found injured on the B184 Ongar Road in Great Dunmow by a member of the organiser's support team at around 8.25am on Sunday, May 28.
He is receiving hospital treatment and remains in a critical condition.
The rider is believed to have been within a group of cyclists at the time of the incident, and police are appealing for anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.
The injured man was riding a red and black Specialised S-Works cycle.
