Aspoeck UK, based in Great Hallingbury, has been presented with the King's Award for Enterprise by the Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire.
Lord Lieutenant Robert Voss visited the company's facility to present the award on Thursday, October 12.
Aspoeck received the award for inventing their RADC - the first radar-based reversing aid with automatic brake function for commercial vehicles.

Managing director Lee Rush gave the Lord Lieutenant a tour of the facility, followed by the award presentation and a buffet reception.
Other notable guests included Deputy Lieutenant Suzy Harvey and Saffron Walden MP Kemi Badenoch.
An Aspoeck spokesperson said: "The afternoon was a fantastic way to celebrate the hard work and achievements of the entire workforce, who make Aspoeck's trade possible."
