Evergreens - also known as Dunmow Disabled Club - celebrated its 70th anniversary in style with a trip to the Ritz.
Members were treated to afternoon tea to mark the occasion.
The charity was under threat of closure in 2019 if a new committee could not be formed to replace retiring volunteers.
Thankfully, new volunteers stepped up and the club was able to continue and reach its 70th anniversary in February.
