Children from The Christian School Takeley were named winners at the Pupil Voice Network Conference, hosted by Bishop's Stortford College.
A team of pupils from Years 5 to 7 took part in the event, which aims to give children a voice in their community.

They gave a presentation on how the school has served the community in the past year.
Pupils spoke about the school's dyslexia information evenings, efforts to reduce waste, tree planting and recycling projects and support of Takeley Community Café, as well as their services, concerts and musical performances.
A spokesperson said: "We aim to enable pupils to know what it means to be a person of service and love, and we are extremely proud that our pupils have demonstrated this to the wider community."
