Uttlesford pupils rose to the challenge at the termly primary school golf competition at Great Chesterford golf course.
Thirty young golfers in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 took part from schools across Saffron Walden and Great Dunmow.

The Par 3 course has seven holes, with "rolling hills and challenging greens", and competition was described as "extremely high" from both boys and girls.
The Year 6 golf champion completed the competition in 23 - and was praised for a fantastic score.
Uttlesford school sports organiser Jackie Coleman, who has run three tournaments this year, said: "I have been increasingly impressed by the large numbers of competitors who took part in each tournament as well as the great enthusiasm and talent by all individuals."
