Residents of a sheltered housing scheme now have hot water on tap due to a £500 donation from the Great Dunmow & District Round Table.
Alan Hasler House in Great Dunmow, home to 30 residents, can now buy a new hot water boiler.
Sheltered housing officer Jean Overton said: "The residents at Alan Hasler House are very thankful once again for the generous donation from the Round Table.
"They can now enjoy a hot beverage without having to use kettles."
Round Table chairman Tai Daly said: "We have a history of supporting Alan Hasler House alongside schools, local charities, and individuals.
"We hope the new boiler makes daily life easier for the residents of Alan Hasler House for many years to come."
