Dunmow Probus Club, a group for retired professional and businessmen, headed out on their sixth trip of 2024 to Stamford and Nene Valley Railway.

After lunch the group headed to the village of Wansford, where they joined the Nene Valley Steam Railway on the return trip to Peterborough and back.
The group tucked it into an afternoon tea while seated in the train's Pullman coaches, sheltering from the downpour outside.
They also celebrated member Colin's birthday with a tin of Celebration chocolates, and on arrival at home were greeted by the fireworks of Dunmow Carnival.
