Dunmow Probus Club - a group for retired professional and business men - welcomed its members to their annual Autumn Buffet earlier this month.
The event was held at Channels Bar & Brasserie in Chelmsford, and this year's club president Alistair Leslie welcomed 47 attendees, which included members and their spouses and guests.
This was one of the club's two annual events, the first of which is a black tie President's Dinner in June.

The Autumn Buffet is more informal, with smart casual dress.
Guests enjoyed vegetarian lasagne, chicken curry and rice, salmon steaks, cold potato salad and cold meats and bread, with lemon cheesecake for dessert.
The buffet was organised by vice president Ian Westall, who was thanked by the president for his efforts.
