Land at Thaxted, near Dunmow, with planning permission for a travellers' site has been sold at auction.
The triangular parcel of vacant land is situated on the north side of Bardfield Road, to the east of Thaxted, and has a gated entrance of Bardfield End Green.

Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers sold the land, which extends to approximately 0.09 hectares, for £151,000.
Regional director and auctioneer Paul Bridgeman said: "Planning permission was granted on appeal for change of use of the land to use as a residential caravan site for one traveller family with two caravans, a utility building and hardstanding."
Clive Emson Auctioneers holds auctions eight times a year, with the next one held from Monday, December 9 to Wednesday, December 11.
