Another successful season was celebrated by High Easter Football Club as they held their annual presentation evening.
The club gathered at the Black Lion in High Roding after a campaign that saw them finish third in Division One of the Braintree & North Essex Sunday League and claim the title of meanest defence after conceding the least number of goals.
It was their final year in the league though as they will start a new adventure in the Chelmsford Sunday League in August.
The coveted individual awards were also handed out.
George Paola took top honours in the players' player category and the press officer's player of the year as well as finishing as the club's golden boot winner for 18 goals scored in 15 games.
Goal of the season though went to Sam Hockley who also had the most appearances with 16 games.
The manager's player of the year was claimed by Alex Blake.
Some less-cherished awards were also handed out in fun.
The worst hair cut belonged to JP Alexander, Jordan Carter was guilty of the worst miss while Jamie Coe picked up the most yellow cards.
The players ended the night by thanking manager George Watkins for his continued support for the club.
