High Easter completed their pre-season friendlies with a home victory over neighbours Barnston - winning 4-2.
All six goals were well taken but it was the home team who got off to a brilliant start with brothers Mahen'a and Gabby Kadimba's one-touch passing eventually finding George Paola.
His pass to Charlie Earle was met with the neatest of touches to send it into the bottom corner.
Two further shots from the hosts were cleared off the line but Paola was not to be denied and he made it 2-0.
Barnston pulled a goal back scored by Matt Bennett but High Easter restored their two-goal lead when good work by Mahen'a Kadimba allowed the ever-busy Ryan Kirk to smash the ball in the top corner.
And there was still one more goal to come before the interval, Paola making it two for him with a belted effort from just outside the penalty area.
The second half continued in similar fashion with nice flowing football by both teams and the keepers playing well.
Easter's Rory Mercer in particular was stopping almost every shot that came his way but he was powerless to prevent Bennett getting a second for the visitors.
That was the only goal of the half though and both teams will now turn to the start of the Braintree & North Essex Sunday League.
High Easter begin at home to Notley Res in Division One while Barnston entertain Boars Head in the Premier Division.
